上海协和国际外籍人员子女学校（Concordia）创建于1998年，是由中国教育部和上海市教委批准办学的外籍人员子女学校，获得美国西部院校协会WASC全面认证，为在沪的3至18岁外籍学生提供高水准的美式课程教育。

学校教学设施先进，旨在为学生提供全人教育的成长环境，并充分考虑各学段学生的发展需求。除针对不同教学目的而设计的教室和学习空间，还有图书馆、合唱和乐队排练室、艺术工作室、剧院等，教育教学设施一应俱全。

日前，Concordia首次主办ACAMIS（中蒙国际学校协会）中部地区视觉艺术节，艺术节迎来了44位来自上海和武汉的国际学校小伙伴。

艺术不只限于画布，也能跃然足上！Concordia见证了一群才华横溢的学生艺术家，他们把运动鞋变成画布，还走上T台，进行了一场时装秀。

上周末，Rittmann剧院里掌声不断，同学们登上舞台，展示了自己亲手涂鸦绘制的运动鞋，每一位都是全场焦点！

这场盛会是Concordia首次主办的ACAMIS（中蒙国际学校协会）中部地区视觉艺术节。艺术节迎来了44位来自上海和武汉的国际学校小伙伴们！

在周末的两天时间里，同学们在艺术老师Ms. Vanessa Vanek以及两名12年级同学Laura S.和Ysanne N.的带领下，用丙烯酸颜料、马克笔和无毒喷漆，将手中的运动鞋打造成了独一无二的艺术品。

这个别出心裁的创作灵感，来自Concordia的驻校艺术家Charles Hargrove（也称为Kool Koor），去年他来访Concordia时，和师生们分享了他的定制版运动鞋涂鸦技术。

本届ACAMIS艺术节以“反思”为主题，激励学生们在自我表达的过程中探索和反思，创作出属于自己的作品。

通过Zoom连线，同学们还和艺术家Kool Koor进行了互动，学习他在定制Air Force 1运动鞋方面的专业知识。

“亲手制作可穿戴艺术，探索新思维，是个难得的机会。我也很喜欢和来访学生交流的过程，听到各种新奇的想法，很有意思。”

“这是一次很有趣的体验。能在鞋子上画出我感兴趣，然后把自己的想法分享给大家，让他们可以更好地理解我。”

“能静下心坐下来做一些不被规则束缚的创作，我觉得很治愈。”

“除了设计方面，我也很高兴在活动中结识了一些新的朋友，他们都很有艺术天赋和动力，对自己的艺术创作有独特的视角。”

“在这次工作坊中，我最喜欢的部分是和Kool Koor的对话。他对我们提出的问题给出了非常有趣的答案。这是一段很有意义的经历。”

重头戏当属精彩的T台秀！由11年级的Sparrow Y.担纲主持，新晋设计师们脚踏自己涂鸦的运动鞋，在T台上大放异彩。

同时，也要给Concordia的13名艺术生同学点赞，他们用热情和友好接待了来访的师生，展现了Concordia社区的精神。

Who says art has to stay on a canvas? At Concordia, student artists turned sneakers into masterpieces and brought them to life on the runway!

The Rittmann Theatre was alive with excitement last weekend as our talented designers debuted their custom kicks, showcasing creativity and flair that had everyone talking.

This was the scene at the first-ever ACAMIS Mid-Region Visual Art event hosted by Concordia, where 44 students from international schools in Shanghai and Wuhan gathered for a weekend of artistic exploration.

Under the guidance of Concordia art teacher Ms. Vanessa Vanek and student leaders Laura S. and Ysanne N. (Class of ’25), participants transformed plain sneakers into wearable works of art using acrylic paint, markers, and non-toxic spray paint.

The inspiration? None other than last year's artist-in-residence, Charles Hargrove (aka Kool Koor), who introduced his signature sneaker customization techniques during his visit.

This year's theme, "Reflection," encouraged students to tap into their artistic voices while creating one-of-a-kind designs. They even got to Zoom with Kool Koor himself for a lively QA about his expertise in customizing iconic Air Force 1 sneakers.

“It is a really great opportunity to have some hands-on experience of making wearable art and explore more ways of thinking. I also liked the process of discussing and communicating with our guest students. It was really interesting to hear about different ideas.”

“It was overall a fun experience. Being able to draw my interests on my shoes and share my ideas with others helped them understand me better.”

“It’s really nice to just sit down and work on something that there’s no rules or boundaries. I think it’s really therapeutic.”

“Design prospects aside, I’m pleased to say that I made quite a few friends at the event, all of which were artistic and driven individuals with unique perspectives on how to go about their work.”

“The favorite part that I had in this workshop is meeting the artist Kool Koor. He gave really interesting answers to all the questions that we asked. It was a very meaningful time.”

The grand finale? A show-stopping fashion runway, emceed by 11th grader Sparrow Y., where our young designers strutted their custom sneakers like seasoned pros. Concordia students shone as creative hosts, embodying the warmth and spirit of our community.
